The Story Behind PoKerr Club

Colin's poker journey started in 2003 when, at the age of 17, he began playing home games with friends.

Those early games were mainly sit & gos and freezeout tournaments. Colin quickly became the person who organised the games, not because he had to, but because he enjoyed bringing people together and creating competitive poker experiences.

As his understanding of poker grew, so did his involvement with the game. He moved into online poker, live cash games and casino poker, developing a particular interest in the numbers behind the game and what long-term results could reveal about a player's performance.

For years, Colin tracked home poker games using spreadsheets.

The system worked. Results were recorded, winners were tracked and player performance could be analysed.

But the information was only data. The story behind the games was missing.

The original idea for PoKerr Club came around 2015 — a simple way to track home poker tournament results and understand long-term player performance.

The goal was to answer questions every poker group asks:

The original idea was focused on home poker tournaments, but the vision continued to grow.

After returning to live poker and experiencing his first WSOP events in Las Vegas, Colin realised PoKerr Club could become something much bigger.

It could become the place where players record their entire poker journey.

From weekly home games with friends, to live cash sessions, casino tournaments, achievements and unforgettable moments — every poker player has a story worth preserving.
